We’re all back from the hiatus! Thank you for staying with us! We decided to head down to New Rochelle to try out the Brickyard Bistro. So, without further delay, here it is!

Eighty percent of the WBC and some special guests went out for a celebratory dinner on Saturday night. We were going out for pleasure, not business, so we weren’t going to write reviews. However, the experience we had at the Karma Lounge in Ossining led us all to agree that our readers deserve to know about what transpired. Since we weren’t planning on working, we didn’t take any pictures of the food or the establishment. Hopefully our reviews paint a clear enough picture.

The WBC ventured up 9A to Croton, to Grouchy Gabe’s Grill. (ah, the alliteration!) It was thought that the grouchy-leaning members of our club would feel right at home at this establishment. We went, we ate some food, and, thanks to the intelligent observation of one WBC member, determined that there would rarely (if ever) be a reason to use the plural of “gluteous maximus” (which we decided would be “glutei maximi”).

You may have noticed that there’s been something missing from our posts the last several weeks. Something feels off, just not right. This is because WBC member Shelley is on leave. Don’t worry, she’ll be eating breakfast and giving us her opinion again real soon.

This weeks intended destination was Orfino’s Restaurant. We arrived on Sunday to find out it was closed. It would seem as though no one checked the website to see that the establishment is closed on Sundays. Maybe another go at it some other time. Either way, we ended up down the street at The Patio again for breakfast. No one wanted to write a review other then Shelley, so that’s all you’re getting. Also, our Czar was out on the west coast for a little R&R and submitted a review for the breakfast she had there. Her post will go first, since we’ve already reviewed the Patio.
